Parents and School Consultation

I consult with parents to develop an authoritative parenting style that validates and supports children and
adolescents, while allowing them to accept age-appropriate responsibility and to develop adaptive skills for
resolving their own problems at home and at school.  I also consult with school personnel to devise techniques and
strategies for students with attention, learning, and/or emotional/behavioral challenges.
